The County Hotel is situated in the High Street, close to all amenities. North Berwick train station is a ten minute walk from the hotel. There are two local golf courses within five minutes drive, the West and the Glen. The County Hotel is also close to other local golf courses, including Whitekirk, Gullane, Longniddry, Dunbar, Haddington and Royal Musselburgh. Edinburgh is thirty-five minutes by train.
